GMRS Mobile/Base Radio Repeater Station

A video of my old home built 50 watt GMRS repeater system, and some pictures of my other repeaters, and my new Motorola Desktrac UHF repeater. The repeater has an internal 12volt power supply that wired up to the portable radio. I have a coax cable that goes from the portable radio to the 50 watt amplifier inside the case. There is a connector on back of the unit to hook up the cable to the TX (transmit) antenna. The receiver is a Radioshack scanner thats also inside the case, and is wired up to the Kenwood patch controller. The scanner is wired up to second connector on the back of the unit for the RX (receive) antenna. I do not use a duplexer with this unit. I used is as a community...
